LSM Training Event Courses Focused on Outcomes


SCOPE & SEQUENCE FOR REQUIRED SUBJECTS FOR CERTIFIED LAY SPEAKER
Northern Prairie District / Oklahoma UMC
This provides a guide in preparing for teaching the required courses using the required texts, as of 2019. Time is limited and the outcome for each class should be a blend of theory and practical application of the principles or concepts presented. The purpose of the training in Lay Servant Ministries to share guiding principles, enhance skills and confidence and develop more effective laity able to encourage other laity to be more proactively involved and spiritual vital members of their community of faith. To produce members who are co-workers in the mission of the church to create disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
